About the University of Neyshabur and the City of Neyshabur

The University of Neyshabur is located in the historic city of Neyshabur, in Razavi Khorasan Province, northeastern Iran. With its rich heritage in science, literature, and mysticism, Neyshabur has long been regarded as one of Iran’s major centers of knowledge and culture. The city is closely associated with some of Iran’s most renowned scholars and cultural figures, including Attar of Neyshabur, Omar Khayyam, and Kamal-ol-Molk, and has played an important role in the country’s intellectual and cultural history.

Beyond its historical and cultural significance, Neyshabur is an important scientific, industrial, and agricultural center in eastern Iran. The city is home to universities and research institutions, advanced industries, and fertile agricultural lands and orchards located along the Binalud mountain range. Together, these features create a dynamic and diverse environment for higher education and research.

Degree Levels

Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree

Eligible applicants may apply for admission to the undergraduate programs available to international students.

Tuition Fees Tuition fees for non-Iranian students are determined in accordance with the resolutions of the Board of Trustees of the University of Neyshabur. The tuition fees listed below apply to non-scholarship international students:
 

Important Information Regarding Tuition Fees

The above amounts cover academic tuition fees only.

Tuition fees do not include accommodation, meals, transportation, Persian language instruction, or examination fees.

The ETS system is used as the reference for the euro exchange rate.

Tuition fees are subject to annual review and are determined by the University Administration during the summer of each academic year.

Persian Language Requirements

International students who are not Persian speakers are required to complete an intensive Persian language course and successfully take the SAMFA examination, administered by the Center for Teaching Persian to Non-Persian Speakers. Depending on the requirements of the relevant academic department, students may also be required to complete remedial courses. Any fees associated with such courses will be calculated separately.

Accommodation

University accommodation is available exclusively to single students.

Accommodation fees are charged separately from academic tuition fees.

The University of Neyshabur does not provide accommodation for married students. Married students may, in coordination with the International Office, arrange private accommodation in Neyshabur.

Dining Services

Students may use the University’s dining facilities by purchasing meals and paying the applicable fees.

Important Admission and Residence Requirements

International students are required to comply with all applicable educational, immigration, residence, and social regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as the rules and regulations of the University of Neyshabur.

Applicants and admitted students must also meet the following requirements:

Initial registration for international students must be completed using accurate personal information through the ADAB International Student Affairs System.

After obtaining a student visa, students must enter Iran within a maximum of two weeks and report to the University to complete their final registration.

Student visas and residence permits are issued exclusively for educational purposes. Students may not engage in employment outside the limits permitted by the relevant regulations. At the time of registration, students must provide the original copies of their educational documents, duly authenticated by the relevant embassy or consulate.

In the event of any deficiency, inconsistency, or ambiguity in the submitted documents, the University reserves the right to cancel the admission and take the necessary legal action regarding the student’s visa in accordance with applicable regulations. Students must have sufficient financial resources to cover their tuition fees and living expenses in Iran.

Academic leave is not permitted during the first semester. Academic leave for two consecutive semesters is not permitted.

Application and Admission Process

Step 1 — Submit Your Application and Documents Submit the required documents to the International Office of the University of Neyshabur and complete your application through the ADAB International Student Affairs System.

Step 2 — Application and Document Review The submitted application and supporting documents will be reviewed by the relevant University authorities.

Step 3 — Obtain the Required Approvals The University will process and follow up on the necessary approvals and permits required for the admission process.

Step 4 — Apply for a Student Visa Following the required approvals, applicants should proceed with the necessary procedures to obtain their student visa.

Step 5 — Enter Iran and Complete Final Registration After entering Iran, students must report to the University of Neyshabur to complete the final registration procedures and sign the required educational undertaking.
