Department of Visual Communication (Graphic Design)

In 1378 (1999–2000), the Faculty of Art of Ferdowsi University—Neyshabur Campus—began its academic activities by admitting students to the Visual Communication program. Subsequently, in 1388 (2009–2010), following the approval of the Higher Education Development Council for the formal and permanent separation of the Faculty of Art from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, the program continued its academic activities as part of Neyshabur University.

Today, the Department of Visual Communication offers two undergraduate programs in Visual Communication and Photography, as well as two graduate programs in Illustration and Visual Communication. The department is equipped with specialized workshops in printmaking, photography, drawing, graphic design, and animation, and its academic activities are supported by seven full-time faculty members with diverse areas of expertise, including Visual Communication, Illustration, Art Research, Typography, Motion Graphics, and Photography.

The department is committed to providing students with a comprehensive academic environment that combines theoretical knowledge with practical and studio-based education in various fields of visual arts and communication.
