Facilities of the Faculty of Art
Art Gallery
The Art Gallery of the Faculty of Art is equipped with appropriate and standard facilities for hosting art exhibitions and is available to students for presenting their artistic works.
The gallery is equipped with a standard lighting system and a data projector, providing a suitable environment for exhibitions and artistic presentations.
Photography Workshop
The Photography Workshop of the Faculty of Art is divided into two sections: Analog Photography and Digital Photography.
Analog Photography Workshop
The analog photography workshop is equipped with various color and black-and-white enlargers. The workshop provides facilities for the manual printing of different types of negatives and is equipped with comprehensive photo developing and printing equipment for student use.
Digital Photography Workshop
The digital photography workshop is equipped with a professional lighting system and a range of professional lighting equipment, including portable lights, snoots, beauty dishes, radio flashes, and other specialized equipment.
Painting Workshops
The Faculty of Art has four painting workshops, all equipped with the necessary facilities and equipment required by painting students for their educational and practical activities.
Computer Workshop
Given the Faculty of Art’s academic programs, including Visual Communication and Photography, the faculty has a specialized computer workshop equipped with 30 professional computers for student use and the delivery of practical and specialized courses.
Sculpture Workshop
The Faculty of Art has specialized sculpture and casting workshops equipped with facilities and equipment including a pottery wheel, ceramic firing kiln, bronze casting furnace, plaster workshop, and other related equipment.
Printmaking Workshop
The Printmaking Workshop is equipped with facilities for various traditional printmaking techniques. Students can practice a wide range of printmaking methods, including metal engraving, linocut, woodcut, and screen printing.
Other facilities available in the workshop include a darkroom and a large printing press.
Library
The Faculty of Art has a library with two reading rooms, providing researchers with a diverse collection of Persian and foreign-language resources, including a number of specialized and hard-to-find publications.
Persian books: 1,600 volumes
Foreign-language books: 1,500 volumes
Reference books: 395 volumes
Journals: 500 volumes
Conference Hall
The Conference Hall of the Faculty of Art has a capacity of 110 people and is equipped with comprehensive audio-visual facilities. It provides a suitable venue for hosting seminars, conferences, academic events, and other scholarly programs and has consistently been welcomed by researchers, faculty members, and students.
