In Iran, higher education in its current form has a history of one hundred years, but historically it is tied to centuries ago, when the fame of the Nizamiyahs of Neyshabur was spreading throughout the world. That is why the city of Nishapur is called "the gateway to the East."

The students are either willing to prefer living in university’s dormitories or prefer renting a house or suit. Due to the large number of students who begin their education at the University of Neyshabur, four dormitories are available and prepared for them. There are two dorms for male students.
